#No Harm is the brain child and passion of Anthea Van Der Pluym, an International Speaker and Coach who has recovered from indescribable violence, and who is ushering in global changes in how we deal with violence, through creating a initiative around a new mindset, of “No Harm!”
“People are inherently good, we get to live it every day!”
Anthea operates #NOHarm as a social enterprise to catapult young people and women who have been harmed into thriving after their events. Those who have not been harmed but see the benefits of living without harm are encouraged to become key members who can advance spread the word.
The #NOHarm movement funds itself through a monthly paid general membership of $10 and invites young people, women and victims of violence into a close knit group, a tribe, a place of belonging, where they can feel safe enough to affect their personal changes related to violence.
It simultaneously offers volunteers a platform to offer their skills and service out to those members in need. Members and volunteers can meet and collaborate to support each other back into constructive living.
Corporations, media and other interested supporters are also offered a place to provide their CSR support in creating visibility, platforms and resources for the #NOHarm movement to gain traction and turn back the tide on violence. Together they have access to all branding and marketing opportunities.
The vision of the #NOHarm movement is to bring an end to violence in our lives, and enable everyone who has experienced violence to fully recover.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.
And when we bring what is within us out into the world, miracles happen.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
The mission of the #NOHarm movement is to create a mechanism for those affected by violence to find good people to believe in, and to involve themselves in doing good with others.
We educate young people, women and men to lead with no harm, and be change agents in the world! We empower their constructive cause.
Do no harm! Not to yourself or any other!
